Well actually, we're a string trio. We are going to be playing weddings and parties and whatnot so we need a nice classy name but also something that's young, like us.

and please not "strung out" because i've asked this before, and that's usually all i get.

"Heartstrings".

Duh, we'll be playing weddings. And the whole "playing on my heartstrings" thing is just sappy enough to draw attention.

Toodlepip, Kipper!

Well I thought of a couple you could use. Since youre in a string band I thought something with a mellow ring to it would be suiting. I agree strung out isnt something a classy trio would wanna be called.

What do you think about:
L'harmonie
Tuscany
Omega
Symphonic Three
L'essence de ficelles (Essence of Strings)

Personally I think french names are pretty cool for a small group. If you dont know french, freetranslation.com is pretty cool.

Or lastly if any of you have a good last name you would want to put in front of the word trio that could also work.

Good luck!

Any syllable specifications or preferances?

Pluck---more youthful. it tickles my funny bone. note quite as classy, but not offensive either

Strum---depends on what you play

Something to do with seasons or nature---always classy, but possibly overdone

The Band---it would be fun to announce yourselves! haha just thought id throw that one in there.

Well my ideas have run out for now. if something brilliant comes to mind, ill edit my answer.
i like Pluck the best.
