sounds like you could be anemic. stuff like not eating enough iron can cause it it's when u don't have enough blood...meaning not quite enough oxygen, not enough energy released and muscles are easily exhausted. maybe go see a doctor

How long have you had these symptoms?
This sounds like a typical viral infection - its best to rule out the simple things before looking at more complex medical conditions as I have seen listed already.

In any case I think a trip to your GP along with a full medical examination should get to the root of your problem xx

Your symptoms are generally vague. "Tired all the time" might indicate several things. The "Cold all the time" coupled with the "No Energy" and "Tired all the time" suggests anemia. I would suggest you trying a multi-vitamin supplement and take some Slow-FE (You can get it at Wal-Mart for $7.99) for a week and see how that works out for you.

If you still have the same symptoms, get a check up.

Are you underweight? Do you eat healthy foods or junk foods? Do you take any prescription meds that have these side effects? Have you ever been diagnosed with sleep apnea? Endocrine disorders? Sounds like you need a complete physical and some lab work. Do it soon to put your mind at ease and get on the road to feeling better.

These symptoms are commonly associated with an under active thyroid. Could also be associated with other things...time to get to the doc for some blood work.

Could be Chronic Fatigue Syndrome-but if you go to your doctors, they will do blood tests to check for various other things, etc. If you need a second opinion, the private hospitaal below may be a good place to start.

I think of two things when I hear your complaints....first is obstructive sleep apnea, a condition where no matter how much you sleep you are always exhausted, takes a sleep study to determine if this is your problem. Second, I suspect depression, which also has similar symptoms. You may want to discuss these two things with your doctor.

You haven't said if this has been going on for a while or if it has only been going on for a day or two. If it has only been a couple of days, then it is probably just a virus. In that case, you should get plenty of fluids and rest.

See your family doctor and ask for blood work to be done. You may have thyroid problems, which would cause these symptoms.

Good luck!

Not a health professional but that sounds like it could be your thyroid - time to go and see your doctor.
