Yep. And he better obey if he knows what's good for him. Or it's off to the bedroom with him!
But really, I do talk to our dog, and he can generally figure out what we want of him. Whether or not he does it is a different story. We sometimes just get THAT look from him that says leave me alone!

I talk to my pet but he can't hear me. He's a snake. He eats live mice from my hand. I think he recognizes the vibrations in my voice because he acts differently around me.

All the time. What's really freaky is sometimes, one of my cats meows back three or four times before I start laughing at him and he leaves.

Used to when I had some. Now my kids want a few fish, a puppy and I want a cockatoo. So guess I'll have a lot of talking to do soon! :)

My cat started it!!! It's not my fault! She meows in a way that sounds like she trying so hard to speak. So you gotta answer her! "What? Jimmy has fallen in the well? Oh my!"

I had two rats hun, Loved those rats, but they died. When I came home from work they used to jump up on the cage to come say hi, they were great. Sadly they both died, and no no one greats me when I come home.... I always used to talk to my ratties.... Mmmmm I miss them x

Yes, of course. They listen better than anyone! They respond by moving their head, extending paw, wagging tail, and they actually seem to understand!
