get a life" or "get a real hobby" or "do something else rather than asking, or something. If what I ask is a waste of time, their answers are double waste of time - first they read something that they considered to be waste of time, and then bothered to answer it, isn't it so?

They have too much time on their hands

I wonder why they bother. Perhaps they are trying to accumulate points. It's a quick response and not technically against guidelines or abuse. It could be worse. The points are just an indicator for you to know who your answer is coming from. They work well don't you think? There will always be point gaming. That won't be stopped and I wonder if it should be. I'm sure these people need something to be proud of; I just wish it was quality, not quantity. I suppose when your own personal knowledge base is limited that far that you have to prove to yourself and the world that you have learned something. I hope more people take the time to ask real questions. It can shed some very valuable insight. Sometimes, the right person doesn't come across your question for a while. It happens. Time of day seems to be important when posting questions. If you do not get the answer you are looking for leave it open or rephrase and ask again at a different time. Someone will come across it eventually. We don't always get answers to our questions as quickly as we'd like but there are quite a few out there who really try. As for the point gamers. Let them have their points. It's completely transparent and you know that you are receiving answers from a person that cheats the system. Consider the source.

Take care.

Oh, I totally agree. It is a big, fat waste of time. So many people would possibly agree that getting on Yahoo answers late at night is a big waste of time also, though. However, don't we all learn something every now and then?

I'm personally sick of people-that is why I like getting on here.

You may say something that actually changes a persons life for the better, and permanently. You never know when the other person is listening. You may have thought it a waste of time, but that other person may have thought it to be truly life changing. A man once told me just 5 simple little words and we had a big laugh about it at the time. Those 5 words were life changing for me. I applied them and they made me money. What the words were is not important to you maybe,,,,but those words were important to ME.

That would be considered a bull's eye! It's like TV, if you don't like what you see move on to the next channel. However, at times there are no good questions on P&S and only avatar games and it is difficult to leave knowing someone with a colorful wit might ask a question I will miss!

Of course if you ,ask a question that is a waste of time ,you get a waste of time answer. It is a waste of time for both of us. You are important than your nonesenses questions,if you get a life or get a real hobby. Yours Truly, "One Of These People". PS. I am not enterested in earning 2 POINTS, but I am enterested on interacting with people's mind.

Hypocrites. That's like Michael Vick calling Animal Control inhumane for dragging dogs along the ground.

Well obviously, they're the ones 'with too much time on their hands' huh? If they had something better to do, I highly doubt that they would be running through P/S scoping out 'irrelevant' questions to answer. Pay no attention to them, they're more insignificant than any others around here. That's my opinion!

LOL I read your profile days ago. The brain does need to keep functioning so it doesn't atrophy, doesn't it? Personally I have enjoyed every question that you have thrown our way. They make us think. There are two kinds of people in this world---them---those that have no imagination and are mired in the mud of everyday life---and us, who are more prone to stretching the imagination. Don't let "them" get to you.
