Close...to me
Am I being egocentric? "Close" feels like a physical concept to me, to me it primarily brought to mind "closeness to something". A natural point of departure would seem to be the distance of something from my own physical sphere, distance from my skin, my senses.
Only after a while did I come to think of the other obvious meaning "shutting something" as in "close the door" .
I hope this means I am open to other beings rather than wanting to shut something out. And I think it refers to a way of experiencing world that is physical, sensitive, rather than cerebral.
Or then again, I have heard something with those words in it and they have etched themselves to my brain. Like "Don't stand so close to me" by the Police.

"Close the door" Is the absolute first thing that jumped into my mind--
Probably because my parents and me as a Prent must have said it a million times !

my first thoughts were along the lines or close the door, your mind or heart.
distance or barriers rather than getting closer.
