My waterbed is the style that uses tubes, and one of the tubes has a small pinhole. Can I patch it, and how?

Sure. Go to the pool store and get a raft repair patch. Sporting good stores carry them also. Heck, WalMart may have them. Very common.

I have never owned a water bed but I bet it would work if you bought a repair kit used to fix flats on inner tubes like for bicycles. LOL

Use a vinyl swimming pool patch kit. I spread a small amount of silicone caulk around the edges.
