That's simple. If a Democrat had won in 2004 (heaven forbid) she would not have been able to run in 2008. It's strictly a self-serving thing with her, just like evrything she does and everything she says.

Right now, we're in the Primaries...each party member is campaigning against other members of the same party to say "I'm the best of this party", so you will see Republicans countering other Republicans and Democrats countering other Democrats.
Once the Primaries are over and a specific representative is chosen to represent each party, then you will start seeing the REAL fireworks...Democrats battling Republicans directly in an open forum.

Probably you are confused by calling Hillary a "liberal". If anyone takes the time to examine her speeches and voting record as Senator, you'll see that she is at best a "centrist" and sometimes even a conservative.
So it doesn't surprise me that you might think she's not toeing the company line--but she never did. Ditto Nancy Pelosi, who is often described as a liberal---but as a constituent, I know for a fact she can be very cozy with big business in California and at times quite pro-corporate.
So nothing is as simple as black and white, liberal or conservative.

If she did, it's probably because she wanted to enter the race this time around. It's a big faux pas to campaign against your party's President. By my witness, she's been running for President since around 1992.

Hillary Clinton is one of America's most intelligent people. She is either for you or against you and she will tell you so. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and God Bless.

Hillary belongs to the HILLARY party. Whatever she knows will help her she will jump on it. She has no loyalty or no set agenda, it changes as the wind blows. I am sure she is a fine lady, just not presidential material. Thanks for the question and have a great day.

If you look at all the candidates on both sides, you will see they would all throw each other in front of the bus to win. You need powerful friends in politics, you can care less about the rest to win.

You make a sweeping statement with absolutely no proof and the Dems need to be honest?

Simple, she is a consummate politician, and as you know ALL politicians will say anything that people want to hear at that moment. Later on they flip flop as situations dictate.
