"I lost a tooth with each pregnancy because the baby took all the calcium blah blah blah".... this is a line of crap. I am a dental hygienist and I can tell you it is not true. What DOES happen is that during morning sickness, one may have more acid on the tummy, and if one vomits a lot, the acid can erode the teeth. Also, frequent meals during pregnancy due to sick stomach will keep the pH level down low (acidic) in the mouth, creating an environment for decay.

I heard that eating raw potatoes helps with arthritis. I like eating raw potatoes (I would steal them out of the pot after they were skinned and cut up and ready to be boiled for mashed potatoes) and my grandmother always told me that I would not get arthritis... so far so good.

i've heard of 2 that involve rain.the 1st is that if the sun is out and it's only raining in certain patches the devil is beating his wife.the 2nd is it's raining at a funeral,whoever is dead is going to heaven.obviously,none of this is true but you asked for crazy.
