It was Ladyhill Primary Year 5's versus Mountjoy Primary Year 6's, and Ladyhill won due to superior fingerwork and better tunefulness.
If you mean the first 'recorded' war, then it depends what you mean by 'recorded', if you are happy to settle for cave paintings of men fighting each other then you have a record, but you don't know a lot about what went on because writing was not really used until around 3,000BC. Records do exist of earlier conflicts, and they are bound to have happened but are not recorded in writing.
The first written record of a war is of one between Sumer (now part of Iraq) and Elam (now part of Iran), it took place around 2,700BC and centered on Basra in Iraq - so nothing new there then. The record exists in cuneiform, which is a very early form of writing.

The first recorded war occurred in c. 2700 B.C. It was between Sumer (in modern Iraq) and Elam (a region that is now part of Iran), and was fought in the area around Basra (just like the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s). Of course, tribes, cities, etc., had been fighting each other for thousands of years before that, but there are no records of these earlier conflicts as writing wasn't invented until a little before 3000 B.C

That must have been around the beginning of the 15th Century. Until then, there had only been descant recorders.
Then someone came along, who had a bigger one (an alto). This is what started the recorder wars - with everyone vying to display the biggest.
Quite early in the 16th Century, Henry VIII solved the problem by composing the melody now known as 'Greensleeves' for the descant recorder and threatening anyone who claimed to have a bigger one with execution.

My vote would go to the Peloponnesian War between Athens and her allies and the Spartan federation. Earlier wars may be noted in historical records, but are not really detailed. Thucydides gave a thorough record of the causes, events, and outcomes of the war. Herodotus previously recorded the Persian Wars, but his account likely contains as much fable as truth as he had a flare for exaggeration and much of what he wrote about happened hundreds of years before his birth.
By the way, the Punic wars between Rome and Carthage did not happen 5,000 years ago as one user claimed. They were fought in the 3rd century BC, just more than 2,000 years ago.

Recorded is the important word here I believe.
The Egyptian Pharaoh Thutmose III commemorated his victory at the Battle of Megiddo with an inscription and pictorial reliefs at Karnak. The battle took place in the twenty- second year of his reign, around 1460 BC. There were many other battles preceding Megiddo, no doubt, but it was the first for which any account exists, making it the first battle recorded in history.

Aborigines in Australia paint on stone portrayal of organized warfare dated to 9,900 BC......
3000 to 2316 B.C., the date that Sargon the Great united all of Sumer into a single state...so by inference the 3,000 BC date pre-dates the battle in 2700 BC listed above.
The first war recorded by photography was the Civil War....(thought i'd throw that it).

Never knew that people used to fight over recorders? Which type? Treble, Base, School???
I know I would like to kill some people who play the recorder when they are very bad or just have a nasty headache.
