Your best bet would be to take your coin to a local coin dealer. They will be able to tell you so much more by evaluation the condition of the coin. They will also know the amount minted and what it is going for in today's market.

The 1943 100 Lei KM# 43 is made of nickel clad steel. with a mintage of 40,590,000 it is not a scarce coin. It.s value on the worlds market is not very high, like .25 cents to around $2 in mint state. It would be worth more money in Romania for it is only one of two dates for that type (1943,1944). Also there is a notation that the 1943 date has variations to the Kings Portrait. It does not list them though. Collectors that collect World War II coins would also be more inclined to buy it.
