I get paranoid and think I'm gonna get a heart attack or something. I get REALLY nervous. My school is having a field trip to Islands of Adventure, and I was thinking of riding the Incredible Hulk, is that too intense for someone like me???Part of me wants to conquer my fears but another part wants to stay safely on the ground

Also, I went to MGM this past summer and was ABOUT to ride Rockin Rollercoaster but when I got there it had technical difficulties, I kinda saw that as a sign that I shouldn't ride them.

Well, if they make you uncomfortable, you don't have to do it.

But, I was once afraid of rollercoasters. I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas about 4 years ago. And, my cousin got me to ride two rollercoasters. One was the Superman Krypton Coaster, where you go upside down AND your feet are hanging in the air. The other was the Poltergeist, which is really short but goes about 60, 70 plus MPH. I wrote SKC twice. But, I did it and I'm no longer afraid of rollercoasters. Just conquer your fears. Imagine how AWESOME it'll feel when you go home and you can say, "I rode a rollercoaster." You only live once, I suggest doing it.

OK trust me on this i have had the same exact experience as you...when we went to hershey park i was like terrified to even look at a roller coaster and imagine me going on it.Then my brothers made me go on i literally was going to have a heart attack wishing i would get of this roller coaster in 1 piece...luckily i went on that roller coaster because it was the best time of my life afterwards i went on 10 more....it is really scary at 1st believe me but after you go on it you feel happy that you conquered your fear and wanna go on every single roller coaster.Feel free to try the Incredible Hulk and don't listen to anyone if they say you shouldn't....think what would you want to do?

There are more chances of you dying in a car crash on the way there than on a roller coaster! I say you should go for it...conquer your fear...who knows you just might get addicted to them! Good luck!!!

I was scared to death years ago, then I rode one that was not so bad....the first time I was scared and had to ride it twice or so...now I LOVE them.. I have dreams I ride them. If you decide to ride some, just don't start out with the scariest one, work your way up....don't let anyone pressure you!

If it really bothers you that much don't go on it. think about how it will ruin the rest of your trip. now on the other hand, it you really want to get over your fear, you might want to start small and build up.

no problem. My friend had the same excuse. You should maybe go with someone else so they can support you and you don't have to do it alone. My friend used to be so scared..now you can' get her off.

i was scared before as well, and if u don't wanna go, don't, but what i did was, my friends kept tellin me to go and i finally was just like "okay, i'll go on." they told me to scream as u went down and it feels a lot better if u do that. but thats just me. good luck figuring out what you want to do
