Your next thought was, "You are a has been. You f*cked up. You have to be the biggest idiot on earth." How do you pull yourself out of it? I lost my job because I opened my mouth about a felony DWI I got and now have no prospects and no future. WTH do I do? I want to die sometimes but I know no matter what I cannot do that because I have a daughter and HAVE to be here for her no matter what. How do I stop torturing myself mentally?

the best thing you can do for yourself is get right back on that horse, look long and hard for another job, and did you have to put that on your application, and you didn't, did you get fired for nondisclosure of information or just ;because they didn't want you working there?

well last time i said to myself "you idiot" first thing in the morning was when i woke up in bed with my college proffessor oh god she is a hottie and everything but it changed things between us, now i dont have to even try to get good grades. However as far as ur situation is concerned, there are always more ways to get jobs out there. Even if it is something small take it because some money is better then no money and you can always work ur way up anything so i hope you find a job and everything goes well. good luck..

YOu don't get a job by rolling a dice. It's not luck, and the fact that you once had that job means you can find another. Go out there and look for another job, use your past experience as your selling point. I know its easier said than done, but that's the most important thing you need to do right now.

don't be afraid to be honest , if you open your mouth to speak the truth and they penalize you for it , it's their mistake , be you , you're fine , that job would have been your worst nightmare , God just rescued you from a horrable mistake you were about to make , your future is yet to come ,enjoy the day , you'll see your future is brighter then you thought it was going to be.!!!

You can start by finding a psychologist/counselor to help you. Lots of people visit therapists to work on their personal issues...it's a good thing! Give it a try.
