Did you ever stop to think that maybe it's not suspicion that they are looking at you with? It could be anger. When you fill that cart up and don't buy any of it, but you take it to the register, someone has to put that stuff back where it belongs. Guess who that someone is. YUP, the people who are staring at you. I don't think Wal Mart pays enough for them to clean up behind some moron who does stupid things like that.

Maybe it's the "filling up the cart and never buying anything" part that's making them suspicious

I believe you have answered your own question.
Probably you have done this before.
Maybe they recognize you as the one who makes them all work harder and there's no point to it.
The bigger question might be, why are you doing this to them?
If you don't like people staring at you and that scares you, then quit doing things that bug others. I'm sure you'll find you are treated differently--probably not at that WalMart though. I have a feeling it will be a while before they forget you are the girl who caused them so much grief.

I know what you mean.Everytime I go to a store the store clerk follows me around and asks me "Can I help you" every two seconds.Everytime I politely say I am just looking. Its really irritating because I would never shoplift.

yeah. i know exactly what you're talking about. i mean, its not like we randomly decide to fill our shopping carts and never buy anything.
its just that, somebody has to do it.
