Supposedly its innocent til proven guilty. However, that can't be right when the perp often goes to jail UNTIL he's proven innocent or guilty. Yes, you can be out on bail, but that's usually a lot of money no one wants to be doling out when they are innocent. Its not like you get it back. And then because you are locked up, all eyes on you are saying "guilty, guilty" when you ahven't been proven guilty yet.

In terms of society and the law, I think everyone should be innocent until proven guilty, without proof, we have no reason to hold someone guilty, certain we can have suspicions, and should be allowed to gather evidence to support this, but we should remain innocent until proven guilty. However, human nature tends to cause us to accuse and hold guilty whether we have the evidence or not, sometimes we are right, and sometimes we are wrong.

In the US you are suppose to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. But that's not always the case.

I think that people get judged before there is any proof of either one. People are so quick to point a finger...so I would say that I think for the most part.....guilty until proven innocent.
