My life sucks!
I am a 40 years old gay good looking male with chemical unbalance problems in my personality and without insurance. I have trouble keeping a relationship, a job, etc. I am very smart but I don’t have consistency in anything in my life, I can not ask for professional help because I don’t have insurance, because I can’t never keep a job for to long, I think something is wrong with me and is something relative to chemical unbalance, I don’t use drugs, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke, I am very athletic looking, but I am not happy with the circumstances of my life. If somebody can give me in advice I appreciate it. Otherwise is better for me to go.

Suicide is not the answer. There are agencies that can help you at no cost. Please look into one of these. At the very least, contact your local suicide hotline and talk to a person on the phone. Y!A isn't the best forum when you need to talk to someone. If you can't find agencies in your area by searching the internet or your phone book, contact the local hospital or police station and ask them for referrals. They should have something to offer you. You can get things straightened out and have a better life. It will just take some work and hope. Good luck.

JustMeAlone is right.
You need couselling and a new perspective on Life in General, my friend.
I would venture to say that at 40, this isnt the first time you've come up against "roadblocks" to your mental health and satisfaction....I would even venture to say that homosexuality was an "out" for you in the first place...a place to go to make friends with the Truth of your Life.
Find your place, no matter the cost or effort, but DO NOT give up til you know WHO you are, and WHY you are.
You hear me?
Dont give up too easily.
You have come this far, dont lose the fight now.
Email me if you'd like.
I'll be there to help if I can, but you need to deal with YOU before anybody else can deal with you...
Relationship problems (gay, straight, single, attached -- whatever) are a HUGE sign of "SELF" problems....you gotta get a grip & get Pissed off and say Dammit, I am gonna change THIS sh!t if it's ALL I do!
You hear me?
Have a drink, smoke a cigarette, gain a few pounds...and CREATE some damned consistency in your Life.
It's YOUR life!
Make it a habit to have dinner at 5 o'clock sharp!!
Read a chapter of Moby Freakin' DICK while you eat...
doesnt matter....just TAKE CONTROL!
Get PISSED!
Say Enough is ENOUGH.
You deserve more, now go GET it.
God Bless You...You deserve it.
Love, Granny

So you have finally succeeded in finding and pinning your problems on a 'cause 'named chemical unbalance. What do you know about it and how has it come, leave aside how to treat it?Next to nothing?Yes and positive YES.And on the final count, you feel that under the circumstances you should GO ie kill yourself.Go ahead and be assured that this world is not going to miss you and except you ,nobody is going to be a loser.Funny, you call yourself as SMART.Even if you were half as smart, you would sit down and take stock of your life, talk to people you trust, find a way out and kick start your life again.I can see that you have it in you and can do it.So,get off your butts and go cracking.YOU have now only one way to go and that's UP and UP.

This too will pass. You need to understand that feelings aren't fact. All things in life are temporary. Allow yourself to get better by taking the necessary steps at improving your situation. You said a lot of great things about yourself in this question, so you have some hope for yourself. I have often wondered what some of my friends would be doing now if they didn't take their own life. Going through all the normal trials and tribulations that billions do daily. Get out of your own way and muster up some courage. You won't regret it.
