Yes, the house could be haunted. How old is your home anyway? If it is quite old, it may have a problem with "settling." This means that the house will shift and obviously, anything within that house will also shift. Also, how many people have keys to your home? Is there someone who is mischievous? This would not be funny. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Before you enter any home or building, say quietly, "Peace Be To This House." - Luke 10:5. Those who are within those premises will be very peaceful. Each and every day, read Psalm 35 (Plead My Cause) - It is a long-winded and worthwhile psalm. It addresses that which is known and that which is unknown. The Lord will take up your cause and give you the much needed peace that you desire. Peace, Love and God Bless.

I don't think you'll find out from that amount of evidence. Subsidence, mild tectonic activity (it does happen) or something else, like neighbours, or a badly loaded washing machine alongside, on its spin cycle, could all cause it.

Why not write it down, with dates and times. If it's the only thing you ever have to write, then you can relax. If, however, you end up with a catalogue of unexplained events, you can go looking for expert advice (see links below).

seriously though, couldnt there have been a jump in the fridge motor.a spurt that sent it out a bit further than usual and faster?
i mean, that is the answer isnt it?
y'all are joking. i think?
anyway fridges move constantly due to vibrations.
maybe something fell off the top and got wedged behind or even something on the opposite wall-do you have a duplex arraingment?

Are you certain it moved five inches? Did you actually see it move? It could have moved due to vibration from the motor as it turned off and on. If you are being haunted, there would be more obvious things happening then a refrigerator moving about..

Probably just a large rat bumping into the side of your fridge causing it to move a little...happens all the time in the U.K. and New York City.

It was probably nothing, is you fridge freezer up against a neighbours wall? also your mind can play strange tricks on you so it may be a bit away form the wall but not that much. dont worry.

I think you are tricking your mind into thinking that it moved, and it really didn't.

Either that, or you have a serious rodent problem. :P

But seriously, don't worry about it, I'm sure it was nothing.
