As an American whose second home is Lebanon, I think he is the worst thing that has happened to America, to Lebanon, and to the rest of the civilized world!

The day he leaves office, I will gladly throw a party.

No, he's not the best but he isn't the worst, as of now I think he's somewhere below average but practically he'll never be remembered like the greats. The best presidents were probably Washington, FDR, Lincoln and Jefferson. Somewhat great were Truman, Ike, Wilson, Andrew Jackson, Reagan, Johnson, Adams and JFK, they are in the top fifteen. Bush is somewhere near 20 or 24 near his father, Clinton, Van Buren and Taft. The worst however would be Harding, Grant and Andrew Johnson and in some cases Nixon. But since Bush is incumbent, popular opinion usually ranks him as unfavorable.

No, he's not. But he isn't the horrible president his haters claim him to be, either.

The mainstream news media, 90% of which has an extremely strong liberal bias, has stoked the fire of George Bush hating. It's been called Bush Derangement Syndrome. But that's because of their beliefs, which include: capitalism must be ended and socialsm established in its place.

That's the heart of the conflict. Liberals auomatically hate all conservatives and do everything in their power to demonize and destroy conservatism - even when the liberals are telling lies.

History will judge Bush, and it won't be strictly by biased college professors who will try slanting the truth in their text books. The Internet and overall expansion of mass communication has destroyed the advantage liberals used to enjoy.

I believe Bush's overall stand in the Middle East will be seen as a necessary first step toward neutralizing the Muslim killing machine that wants to anihilate the US - even though Bush made missteps along the way.

As far as the economy, cutting taxes is ALWAYS the way to go, and despite some other serious problems that had nothing to do with Bush's administration, Bush's tax cuts made the economy much better.

One last point: Regarding complaints about the size of the deficit, it isn't the dollar amount that you go by to determine if there's a problem, it's PERCENTAGE OF THE GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT. Currently, it's about 3% of the total income of America. That's like having 100 dollars but owing 3 dollars to someone. Economists consider that statistic to no problem.

The dollar amount (billions and billions) is used to shock people who aren't aware of the current size of the nation's gross earnings.

Unfortunately, you won't learn these things from the mainstream media, as they are invested in the failure of capitalism, so they won't tell the truth.

Greatest only from one narrow perspective he's driven the US currency exchange rate (ultimately your purchasing power & standard of living) down on the international monetary exchange markets, and forgieners find travel, and investment in the US much more affordable.

This has been an enormous benefit for those who travel and visit the US from other countries,
even though it's an unwitting conciquence of
various inane self destructive policies.

One example being the Canadian dollar
wich started around .63 VS USD, and is
now upto .94

The only problem is the US is in the process
of closing it's borders to forgien travelers and investments, for paranioa about terrorists,
coming to steal our Free-Dum !

Somehow I dought you'll see a large scale monument in or around the capitol in Washington,
to his likeness and honour, anytime soon,
unless it's put there by America's debtors.

history will put him in the top 5 within 25 years. After the utter devastation to this country by the libs who get elected next term will bring. When the "anti Bush'ers and anti US'ers are mired in vomit of their own making, and realize they have blown everything,as usual they will beg conservatives to save them from starving. They will know then,if they haven't starved to death. That Isolationism doesn't work.Appeasement doesn't work.It will take living under Muslim rule to get their attention, but they will see the light and realize America, and George Bush, weren't that bad after all
