The reason you dont see the option to Remove, is because you deleted the uninstall information. It was most likely in the folders you emptied. Since the uninstall files point to every registry entry, and every file installed with the program, you are gonna have a lot of garbage files left floating around. I think I would try to restore to a date before your deleting began, then Uninstall programs via Control Panel.

Okay, lets see, did you install the program?? If so when, I had the same thing on mine but I was able to remove it. Is the more than one AOL on there, if so can the other one be removed? I always system restore to a previous time when it was working well then I remove the extra.....hope it helped

Try downloading and installing the latest AOL, then uninstalling it using the control panel. Make sure you follow any on-screen directions exactly while uninstalling.

Good luck with AOL, it's the #1 virus. It's probably easier just to take off everything you want, reformat and reinstall everything.

Get a tool like System mechanic Professional and You can mange your softwares better thru it. Aslo after uninstallation you can run the regitry optimizer to remove unwatedlinks and also you get a shortcut remover to remove unwanted shortcuts.

Simple solution.
1] Install it again
2] Uninstall it
What this does:
Puts every thing back so the uninstall process can complete correctly. Don't forget to reboot between install and uninstall

put the icons u want into the trash icon and them empty the trash icon. then go into the interner and somewhere on the top there should be somethimg that sais tools. click that and then click internet options. after that something should pop up on your screen. click DELTE under browsing history and all that stuff will be gone for good!

try to go to my computer---programes--then from the list find your program and deinstall it manually by deleting the program folder.i always do that if my computer does not find the program in add or remove.good luck.
