Oh, I have to say inner beauty shows more. You can see a beautiful face for instance and yet behind that beautiful face is someone who is ugly in thought and mean and the beautiful face disappears. You can know someone who is not so beautiful on the outside but is such a warm and wonderful person with a great personality that you no longer see the imperfections of the physical and only see the beauty of the person.

If i take the question literally, then obviously Outer Beauty would show more. Outer Beauty since it is outer, is undeniably more perceptible than Inner Beauty. Inner Beauty would only be shown when the personality or character of that person is displayed through actions and words etc. Thus, that would need at least some form of knowledge of that person's acts or some observation. In comparison, Outer Beauty can simply be shown just by that person being present.

The answer to this question varies greatly depending on who you ask.
Let's say this question takes place in the states...in that case, outer beauty shows more. This is a cultural reality (which is really the only reality because human existence is what constitutes reality and our existence defines it).
No one wants to admit this, but the truth permeates our culture through the use of billboards, sex symbols, Hollywood, money-making makeup lines, the 70% increase in plastic surgery in the past two decades, the multi-billion dollar porn industry, increased anorexics in a therapist's office, the loads of bestselling books on beauty secrets and more and more effort spent everyday scrutinizing ourselves in the mirror.
The cultural perception of real beauty is definitely skin deep.
On an interpersonal basis, we can become affected by someone's beauty (or lack thereof) even when we don't realize it. A study was done to prove this - college age males were given two pictures, one of a beautiful woman and one of a plain woman. Then the males spoke with the women in the pictures on the phone (not the actual women). The males were curteous, friendly and joking with the beautiful woman. On the phone with the plain woman, they were cold, ordinary and uninterested. This made the plain women react to them the same way. Beauty can directly mirror itself.
What should be more important is a person's inner beauty but this is sometimes extremely difficult to do with so many mixed messages regarding what beauty is and should be - according to those perceived as the most beautiful. Meanwhile, the concept of genuine beauty becomes lost among the rush for the last tube of Mary Kate and Ashley cherry blossom lipgloss.

It depends on how much clothes you are wearing!! lol
But seriously, inner beauty always "shows" more in the end because in the end you get to "know" a person by their inner beauty or lack thereof. Outer beauty, at least to me, only catches one's eye, just like seeing a rose in the middle of weeds. When you smell the rose and get to know it, you will find out if it was planted properly. Only then do you decide if you want to pick it, or let it die with the weeds.

Outer beauty may reel you in at first but without inner beauty anyone would lose interest after a while!

well you cant really tell if someone is shy or outgoing, quick-tempered or pessimistic or moody or hyper or childish or annoying or honest or caring or someone you'd get along with by their appearance. sure something about their appearance will give something away that will make you want to know them... but other than that i think outer beauty can be misleading in some cases and reveals very little. take my little sister. she looks like an angel. but behind closed doors... shes a brat lol.

but inner beauty can radiate out so we intuit it...
neither are constant....
beauty fades
and inner beauty changes

obviosly the outer beauty shows more only in the outside is more vain. you can see with your eyes, but the one is more valid and that one is important to me is the inner beauty the one you can't see with your eyes but you can see it with actions of your spirit.
