Yes it is!

And I hope that crude prices will reach $100/barrel this winter. I will have to pay more for my fuel, but it sure will hurt those guzzlers more.

My gas guzzler can get as low as 13 mpg and on the road 25 miles a gallon. If we do not use up the gasoline the Chinese people will! Going out dammaging some ones Hummer SUV because it uses gasoline at a high rate is obsene! Global Warming? That ball was put into motion in the 1860's industrial revolution coal burning cutting down trees and 1900's building automobiles trucks jet air planes. Do you really want to go back to no electricity kerosene lighting? Spoiled food.

Why?

If you can afford to drive a vehicle that gets 12 miles per gallon and drive that over 600 miles for a vacation.

You have the safety of a 4x4 SUV
Leg room for adults in the back seat
still plenty of cargo room for the stuff
and towing capabilities that can pretty much tow anything

Myself I like putting the gas guzzling V8 engine into little pickup trucks.
I am currently working on a 1985 Chevy S10 with a cop car 305 V8.

Believe me there have been are alot of more damaging, obscene situations going on way before the "gas guzzlers". This gas/oil issue was also a concern back in the 70's, when there were alot more V-8's out there.

Obscene??.....sexual predators, aids, famine, health-care, education...the list goes on and on with each generation.

What's the big deal. Move to Venezuela and pay 25 cents a gallon and import a big Hummer and don't worry. Talk about cheap gas in the US?
