I think it all depends on the person. I personally dont need much sleep at all. I usually only get about 4 hours at night at the most. Then I usually take an hour nap in the daytime after work and im all set. And if age means anythin im 18

I can get by on 5 hours of sleep unless I'm physically active. If I do weight lifting and cardio then I need a full 8 hours.

8-10 is great. 4-5 is not. even if you feel great with only that amount of sleep, eventually it will start to take a toll on your body actually increasing the effects of aging.

8- 10 is right, to much sleep is not good for you and not enough sleep is not good for you, if you keep getting not enough sleep you will get used to it, but your body might react different, which you might not real, but it will affect your mind which you will notice, such as depression, that is the one that accrues most of the time

Well, I get about 4hrs a night, and I feel like crap every single day! So whoopee for you!
I'm still alive though, so apparently it's all i NEED. But it's definitely not what I WANT!
