To err is human ,To forgive is divine.
It is not necessary to be a perfect and genuine man in this world because, life is full of hard spines to come through.
The best way is to be perfect in your part. when you be perfect in your part the whole world is yours and you can emerge with flying colours.
GOOD LUCK.

No matter how hard you try,you can never bcum a perfect man. There is no such thing as being a perfect man.Thts the way we are made.No1 is perfect, but yes,you can be a good and honest man.
Honesty is always always valued, friend. If not by the world u live in,then by the Lord above and your very own conscience.Honesty prevents your soul from becoming impure .
If you stay on the side of honesty and truth, you will never need to feel guilty for anything you say or do.Ofcourse, the path of honesty is not a bed of roses. But if you overcome the obstacles and stay honest, you will be happy with no regrets in life.
So come back, join the right track.Express your feelings.Let people kno tht you do respect them and are not vain as you seem to.You can tell them the truth, but not in such a way tht the other person feels hurt or offended.Say the truth, but say it softly and wisely.Embrace honesty and modesty, make them go hand in hand with a little bit of talking skills and soon you will be able to get back your good night's sleep.

e.g. If your wife is wearin a dress tht makes her look bad, don't shout in her face tht "You look Ugly". Just say,"This dress doesn't suit you much. The one you wore yesterday looks much prettier on you".In either case you are speaking the truth. But the second dialogue is much more comforting.Got it?? :)

No. It's not valued anymore. Theres' too much imperfection in every society. So many Indian folks rather bury their head in the sand and marry perfect people. So in order to get married, and have them be perfect, u must omit and hide truths about one another. Honesty about everything is the worst policy, because not everyone can handle everything, and then in retrospect, u realize that if u weren't honest, none of this would ever happen. Parents tell children to be honest to them because it makes thier jobs as parents easier. But after a certain age, kids realize that honesty for being themselves only gets them in trouble, and that their parents and the society prefer their unacceptable habits not to be discussed. In this way, everyone's happy. Whereas, if the child(I say child because a kid is always a kid to their parents), is honest, he/she gets yelled at, the parents are disappointed, and if the community finds out, it could wreck their chances of finding the "perfect" mate when time to marry.

Imperfection should be accepted, not criticized. Respect is over rated too. India is too hung up on respecting elders, and positions and things. Respect is not in what u say or how u say it, it's in what u do. They say honesty is the best policy, but it's not appreciated when received. Honesty is only used as a weapon nowadays anyway. U can't beat them, so just join them. Lie through ur teeth, and pray u get perfected at it. It seems people respect liars more now anyway. The honest person is seen as an aweful person, and ridiculed. At first u'll feel guilty, but just say pardon to God and pray for strength, and lying should come easy. Let's pray that God understands ur predicament.

Honesty is, and will always be the best policy. Where people got the idea it's alright to lie, cheat, and steal I don't know. The only thing perfect in this world is a fool. Ask your self, am I a better person today than I was yesterday.

Just my opinion. You need to realize that no man is perfect. Also you need to realize that no two people are alike. You need to let others live their own lives--not criticize others and try not to judge others. Just live life to the best you can--with no guilt. Try to distance yourself from others--the closer you get to others--the more faults you will find--and feel guilty for judging them.
Honesty is valued by some people very much. Don't brag on yourself and put others down when dealing with people. Just live life and go on. That is about all you can do.
Good Luck
