god only knows. they boast about there patriotism, but if anyone is patriotic about there own country, but it even slightly dismisses america the have a go

America is a large country with all types of people, good and bad. There are big cities with high crime rates and there are small towns where you don't have to lock your doors at night. I know that you can find the same things in other countries as well. I'm an American and have traveled abroad and found that there are good honest people (and worthless pieces of crap) everywhere in the world.

I really wouldnt want to visit the county who's people shout "we're number 2".

That is their culture. They brainwash people since elementary to believe the U.S. is really the best country iin the world. They feel they are powerful, rich, intelligent, and that only leads to arrogance.
Arrogance is what makes great empires fall.

When you are not aware of your limitation you will feel that you are the best. That is why outsiders who enter America in large numbers shine better.

Best at what, I wonder. I asked an American recently why she moved permanently to Australia. She said quite straightforwardly "It's safer here. People smile at you, and they don't carry guns". All of the Americans I've spoken with here say they don't want to go home.
As I said "Best at what?"

There is no need to answer this other than to point out that millions of people live here now that immigrated from other countries and millions more are trying to get in. Where else in the world is this happening?
