The best you can hope for is to rent from a private individual. Your best bet will be from the news paper. Another place to look is on the community bulletin boards found in just about every grocery store.pp

I hate to tell you this,but unless you are willing to move to the slums/undesirable area,your chances are pretty slim.This is not only the Chicago area,but nation-wide.My daughter lives in the San Diego,Ca. area and is facing the same thing because her credit stinks.I would stay away from those web-site places that promise you that they can get you a place with no credit check (how do you think they make THEIR money?).I wish you luck.

Unless you want to live in some slum house where the landlord doesn't care about the property or the tenants. Every other landlord is going to do a credit check.
