The defense was put in too many bad situations in the first quarter and still held them to field goals and blocked one kick. They have a couple good running backs, but I think he needs to pick two, start Aldridge, and put number 5 as the change of pace guy. Start Sharpley at quarterback, Clausen isn't ready yet, he stares down his receivers. And get some bigger WR's in there, they have some on the roster. They had some midgets out there. Rework the offensive line. Keep a tight end in to block. He was trying to throw bombs when they were blitzing everybody. Weis got outcoached in that one.

yes. It would have been a loss but not by 30 to an ACC team

Remember Ga Tech kicked 4 field goals so the Irish didn't exactly contain them. Notre Dame has a promising young quarterback in Clausen of course and some good future players on the horizon. The Irish just escaped losing last year in Atlanta as you well know scoring only 14 with Quinn, those big receivers and Darius Walker because of the fierce Jacket defense. Yes Notre Dame may have gotten lucky and scored one touchdown and made it 33-10 Saturday.

Well, actually...I thought they should have started Sharpley too...and worked Clausen in when he doesn't have to win the game so soon, to give him experience...

Demetrius Jones does not fit in to Weis' offense...I'm not sure what Weis was thinking recruiting him...I think if anything with Jones, Weis should move him to WR...He could actually help the team there...

Sharpley threw the ball well, but he got sacked about 7 times...usually the O line's fault, not the QB... and Clausen moved the offense without the sacks, even though the FG came with Sharpley in...

All that said, I think it was clear that Clausen gives them the best chance to win, so they should start Clausen the rest of the season...We shall see...Weis said he would know by Tuesday who will start Penn State...

It was pretty clear that Jones is not the answer...and if Weis hasn't figured THAT out, I'll seriously wonder about his coaching ability...and the supposed offensive genius...

The potential is definitely there, they just should of stuck with the passing game to start. That is Notre Dame Football. The wrong QB started the game & the defense saved their butt , but the offense just couldn't get it together. It was the first game of the season & a lot of teams lost. Betcha see a different team this week against Penn State.
GO IRISH!!!!

They could have put anyone out there and it wouldn't have mattered. ND sneaked out of Atlanta last year with a win knowing they had one drive the whole game WITH Brady Quinn and Darius Walker. Coach Tenuta knew what he had to do, which is what he always does, bring the house and rattle them. GT was winning that game regardless. That's what happens when you can't stop a team from running the ball when they are stopping you. GO JACKETS!!!! On a side note congratulations to the boys from Appalachian state, big win in the big house.

Notre Dame is in big, big trouble. That 33-3 score is very deceiving. The game was not as close as the score would indicate. They gave up 265 yds rushing and rushed themselves for negative yds. They will be underdogs in nearly every game they play. Sorry Irish fans, this is going to be a very long, brutal year.

I actually did not get of project to video reveal those suits worried so ought to not have complete insights. Sehwag had no reason to withdraw his charm, he become interior complete rights. It become thoroughly interior the spirit of the sport, what the batsman become attempting to do become not. no choose for a warning the two via the bowler. If the batsman does not prefer to get out then stay interior the crease. If it become sparkling he become working to make a run and then whilst observed that he must be out. will advance his hands that he has an injury then he could desire to take transport of out. yet there is likewise great component concerning the doubt, he honestly ought to have pulled something or actual injury. If he's injured not likely he will dive its stupid. Hussey isn't the variety of participant from his checklist who could try something humorous. he's a trustworthy participant. intentionally or by accident bowlers shouldn't stand interior the midsection. Batsmen could desire to run to attain, so as that they could desire to be off the pitch right this moment. i don't comprehend what the circumstances have been, yet whilst bowler is on the pitch a rule could desire to be made batsman shall not take transport of out. Bowlers could desire to be of the pitch. Its batsman's suited not the bowlers. together with his hands on the hips what become he doing status there interior the 1st place? Umpires could desire to admonish such bowlers inspite of who this is. i don't comprehend concerning something of the circumstances, besides the undeniable fact that this is being pronounced Tendulkar did not even difficulty floor his bat. And with or with out Lee status there he could've been out. This regulation could desire to be clarified now IMO regardless. That if bowler intentionally or by accident stands on the pitch hindering the batsman. The batsman shall not take transport of out. I constantly hate that.

Peyton Manning could have been QB and ND still would have lost. That is the worst offensive line I have seen since I watched my little brothers pee wee football team. Oh yeah and the Defense is a joke too.

You bet! ND has the potential to get run out of their own stadium this coming weekend. That Penn State defense is going to rip them apart & the Lion offense is going to grind them in just a bit deeper. Touchdown Jesus doesn't smile this weekend!
