My Pioneer DVD-ROM can't read CD; however, it has no problem in reading DVD. Any idea how to fix it?

It's Pioneer DVD ROM and juz happened recently. I'm not really sure what is happening.

Try using a special lens cleaning CD. They have one or more soft brushes that gently clean the lens when they are inserted. You can find them at almost any store that sells CDs.
