No. Overall wage will go down, because employers will then have to choose between raising prices or laying off workers.
They will lay off workers, which depresses the overall wage, and ask the remaining workers to work harder.
In this way, minimum wage workers will suffer either way.

no.. if you are already making over what the new minimum wage is then it wont go up.. unless the company decides to give you a raise...
