Ancient folklore regards it as bad luck (and a bringer of rain).
It certainly is bad luck for the spider. Why did you kill a spider, especially if it was wee? Spiders are our friends, otherwise the world would be overrun with countless foul insects.

Not bad luck but not a nice ending for a spider, but on the other hand have you noticed spiders are getting bigger?
In a few years time i watch my back if I were you, just in case Boris the spiders big bro, comes a knocking lol.
Oooh a bit of trivia for ya concening spiders did you know on average every human will eat a spider sometime in there life when they sleep?
Makes me shudder every time!

I have often heard that killing a spider makes it rain, so depending on what kind of day you have planned it could be bad luck, or a blessing (I love my garden so i consider it good luck)
