Yes. I think I know who you are. I've answered your questions before, but you weren't invisible then. You can be trusted. Am I right?

Best wishes!

What real bearing does the avatar hold for anyone anyway? Does a tiny picture of a cartoon guy or girl really signify that this is someone you can trust?

Either way, an avatar means nothing in the world of the internet. My neighborhood is a dangerous place, but the internet even more so. Avatars or not, anyone would be very naive and placing themselves in potentially great danger if they trusted someone on the internet outside of typical or expected communication (such as here on yahoo answers).

Personally, I like to keep my anonymity. Even more so, the little cartoon avatars seem somewhat silly to me. How is my credibility increased with the use of one? Not increased at all.

Maybe it's possible those without the use of an avatar don't trust the ones who have them.

No, cuz this sight is not about TRUST...it's about askin' questions, gettin' answers and killin' time my friend. What is there to trust when were all strangers here anyway? Who trusts a total stranger completely? Maybe they just wanted to jump into the game without picking one out. I had my Avatar way before I ever stumbled up on YA. I don't even know what the process is for picking one out through here...I guess it's the same...

Yes we can trust on them more then the guy who have avatar.
th eperson who have avatar chose the avatar wat he want to be.
He may use the avatar to misguide others, like a boy can use the girl's avatar because he want to talk to the girl and vice versa.
The person who not have a avatar may be a simple person.

Tell me what is there to trust. I don't trust people who don't have a name such as yourself.
