uhm. I think thats agg assualt with a deadly weapon causing bodily injury.
= 1st degree felony

He could go to state jail for 2 - 12 months (they threaten 2-10 yrs) He's needs a real world lawyer. = $1500 - $3000

I'd suggest against probation. 80% of people on probation end up in violation and the courts know it.

Luckily, if he's already in jail, he could plead defense if he was provoked physically or if you where there and the man grabbed you.
Settle for violent conduct, class C misdemeanor and receive time served, pay a court cost and get out ASAP

yeah, counseling could help his case and him too. ESCP if he's on probation (which would be given as a pair anyway)

did they guy's head look like mine before he got stitches?

Oh, Oh...first things first. You will need a lawyer. It is a first class degree felony, He could get 2 to.....years in state jail and of course he is going to have to pay for the guy's head which he busted open. I believe that the statuette on that is $5000. You should also apologize to he guy even if you don't want to. Go immediately to Anger Management classes.
It is going to cost you a pretty penny. The lawyer between $1300 to 5000, Then you have to pay for the man's injuries that is another $5000. Then court costs and Anger Management courses. If it was provoked by something or someone else make sure your tell the lawyer and that could change everything. Good Luck!! God Bless and you will soon see that all will work outl
Good luck and God Bless!! All will be well..

If it is his first offense then usually depending on the judge you can get 2 to 5 years of probation. If it isn't his first offense then he could possibly get some jail time which can range anywhere from 90 days to 5 years. He will also have to pay court fines and restitution to his victim.

Hopefully a anger management class. He/You are responsible for the victim's medical bills for his injury. This also leaves him open for a small claims court "invitation" which could possibly award the victim 5k dollars in most places. Sounds like maybe your hubby shouldn't drink anymore if it makes him get violent. It costs too much.
Good luck
