Reading a book can be helpful but I tend to think there may be something else lying at the base of your inability to sleep. I, too have a problem sleeping, and I made a list of what I was doing two-three hours prior to my desire to go to bed and what happened two-three hours afterwards. First of all, determine what your day has been like. The ability to sleep well starts in the brain. If you have a lot on your mind and try to sleep without allowing yourself some time to reflect and put those things in their proper categories, you will wake up or dream about them often causing restless sleep. If you have had an argument with someone and other unresolved issues - will prevent a good nights sleep. If you go to bed with a heavy plate of food on your stomach, or drinking heavily - you will not sleep well. (the first lap of sleep will put you in a stupor, but your brain will rise up from that) Suggestion - meditate, read poetry, something nice and uplifting, comforting prior to sleep. Pray. Do some Yoga - stretches and relaxation tapes are wonderful! Also, purchase yourself some relaxation music CD's such as wind, ocean breezes, babbling brooks. ( I have a real water/stone fountain that is the most calming sound I have ever heard). Take a relaxing bath with aromatheraphy crystals. Get in bed with clean, crisp sheets sprinkled down with baby powder. Turn off all the lights and play soft music (no singing) or your relaxation CD's. You will sleep and it will be peaceful. Try it.

teen Dream- coastline homestead. that's relaxing, soothing. Breezin'- George Benson. The Koln stay overall performance- Keith Jarrett. rather lots the different soft jazz. particular songs of Simon and Garfunkel's is often particularly relaxing. BQ: i'd say a mix of the two. yet.. I see i can not choose that.. hmmm... Then i assume that's a count of lifestyles-form/environment, if I had to choose.

Insomnia (sleeplessness) is due to stress,
dietary and medical problems. By making
small lifestyle changes like having a fixed
daily routine, relaxing and eating properly,
insomnia can be cured. I found the information
at http://nosleep.in/howtogetsleep.html
