If the boat is Documented than only 1 of the same names per area so you will have to add a # behind the name, Most use the wives, g/f, mistress,daughter any name that you can repeat 3 time with out it being a tongue twister As you may have to call the Coast Guard & they frown on names that they can't understand or repeat>

Mostly female names I'd have thought, after a wife or girlfriend. Most ships are refered to in the feminine sense.

i would say something "Anne" ie kirsty anne or rosie anne there are alot of boats that end in Anne .
