Pre period cramps...?

When I'm about a week till my next period when I go to the bathroom to pee afterwards for about 5-10 mins I get bad cramps. They ease off on their own. It first started when I was about 17 and doesn't happen every cycle but more often now. I'm half way through a cycle now and they have started already. Anyone know what or why this happens

My husband and I are trying for a baby also

This could be a symptom of something like endometriosis but the only way to know for sure is to have this evaluated further by your doctor to see what they think is going on.
