I agree they were foolish to leave children so young alone. If it had been me I would have got a bottle of wine and food to eat in the apartment while they slept. A family holiday these days seems to be an excuse for parents to enjoy themselves and leave their children alone, whether it's in the apartment or unattended in the very busy pool. Does no-one take responsibility for children anymore. They are left to there own devices to pester others who want peace and quiet. Leaving the other children behind after a such a tragedy is irresponsible. Not sure though that they killed their own child.

They went to other countries during the search for Maddie. Taking the two year old twins with all the documentation and other difficulties whilst being interviewed for the media woiuld be difficult. Also if you are the Portuguese police you might be reassurred that two of your possible 'suspects' (they wont be cleared until the perpetrator is found) are more likely to return if thier other two children remain behind.

As for being foolish when donating to help find Maddie. I would have thought you anti McCanns would have been the first to dip your hands in your pockets. After all aren't you sure that once Maddie is found it will provide the incontovertable evidence that her parents are the killers?

I have no idea who killed Maddie, but I really think it unlikely that it was either of the parents. I think this because of how difficult it would have been to 'dispose of the evidence' even if working together. Also having gone through I.V.F. to get their children it seems highly illogical that they would commit such an act. True any investigation can only rule things out against absolute proof. It could have been a horrid accident they are trying to cover up. This still makes it unlikely.
My own favourite theory is that someone who works there (or was working there at the time) was involved perhaps for money to help some people who wanted a child. They waited until they found someone who was being too casual and then helped them to steel Maddie.
Sadly it seems unlikely we will ever know the truth, I just hope your conscience is clear and that you have never done anything wrong after all the vitriolic statements you have written.

I don't.

Anyone who has to repeatedly call people fools in order to dissuade them from challenging their view, usually has an intellectually bankrupt argument.

They have no reported financial problems, from all accounts they have a happy home life, there are no reports of abuse of any kind. Suddenly they turn into these cold-blooded killers, (and for good measure the other remaining members of the Tapas 9 are thrown in to) who can kill their child and then go and dine with friends and then decide to make money out of it. The fact that the money in the fund is not accessible by them, they have to ask for it and justify the expense is ignored.

Personally, i think this is a horrible story

However, i don't see why everybody is making such a fuss about it, this sort of thing happens every day all over the world...
The person that did this is truly mad - and still is not turning himself in, and he wont do, because if he does he will get a very bad sentence...
That's my opinion...
But saying that the parents killed their own child? What sort of a parent does that? Imagine the guilt!!! Just imagine how you would feel if you were the mother and you saw this post? Shame on you...

P.S. Do you honestly think the kidnapper uses Yahoo! Answers?!? And if he did - it's not the sort of place he would turn himself in (if he was to)!!!

thats why money is the root of all evil..

see poor families need there kids so they can get more money from the government. rich people just leave them alone all the time and work and do there personal life stuff.

moral of the story is be poor and live off the government.
