If you need to fill a hole of that size (I'm assuming 4 x 2 x 2), that's 16 cubic meters, which is a LOT of dirt.

Depends on the lenght as you need 3 measurements to calulate cubic metres of soil/sub soil

You forgot to say how deep! for an exact amount of dirt that WAS in the hole.
So since it is a hole there is no dirt in it.
