My fiance and I both have mood/depressive issues and our sex drives go from wanting it two to three times a day to not at all for weeks, so we came up with an agreement. If either of us decides that there will be no sex going on and this unfortunate mood lasts for at least a decade or if an accident renders one of us able to engage in sex, the other can get a human sex toy er, I mean bed buddy. Hahaha! We'd stay married though, of course, since divorce isn't an option for us.

it depends it the love is still there and its a medical reason no sex or one of you are having a problem preforming because something happen to make the other feel uncomfortable whatever the case maybe I would seek some kind of counselling help as a couple before you throw in the towels I know it can be hard because sex in a very important element in the marriage however you did say for better or worst although if kids are involve and you only standing because of the kids that not health for them kids sense thing they are smarter than we give them credit for.

well, if was 80 years old it would be totally fine not having sex. Younger than 70 while that may sound old is still young to not as least want it. Sounds pretty bad when you say its been years since you had some. If both are content with it, I guess it should not matter. I would feel totally deprive and unwanted as a woman, but thats just me.

I've never been married, but I have been in long term relationships, so I'll give this question my best shot.

If we were both healthy, young adults, a lack of sex would end a marriage in months, not years.

However, let's say she was in a car wreck and couldn't have sex - of course I would stay with her. By getting married, we would have made a deal to be one, so it would be like the car wreck had happened to me.

That's a tough question. I guess it would depend on the reason for no sex. If it is because there is contempt etc present, I don't know if I would. If it was due to some sort of accident that left one of you unable, probably. But it's still hard.

Yes, more than likely but it would really depend on the situation. What is the reason that we aren't having sex? Is someone ill? Do they have a disease? Are there marital issues?

I'm sorry ..but i cant be married if their is no sex, that is a big part in marriage, all so ..support,understanding,respect,love,communication if he's not having sex with me then i would feel that he's not attracted too me ,or he's found sex some were else and with that i would leave.

The lack of intamacy can be a killer, if you not sleeping together at least you should be affectionate with each other. How hard is it to wrap your arms around someone and love on em.
