I was using CB radios back in the early 70's when we had to buy a FCC licence for $20.00. My call letters were KRK1695 and I still own a mobile. My long time handle has been the "Rockin' Chair.

Yup - about 26 years ago - it was fun in the UK, but then they made it legal and half the folks had AM, half had FM and it all went a bit wonky.
Good fun at the time though - and an ok way to meet folks
