Dylaney sounds like a last name. I'd go with Disney. You might laugh your head off, but people nowadays are coming up with quite fascinating names...Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin named their daughter Apple and their son Moses. If you really don't think that the name Disney suits the baby girl in your story, I have another idea: Danielle.

That's a good idea, but to be honest I think Delanely is kind of giving your readers an impression that you were trying too hard to think of a name that was like Dylan. These are just some suggestions; maybe it's just me..
Maybe:
Alex/Alexandra
Andrew/Andrea
Justin/Justine
Eric/Erica
Jack/Jaclyn?
I don't know, it's really up to you.
Good luck in your decision!

I went to grade school with a girl named Delaney. (I think it had been her mother's maiden name, if I remember correctly). I always thought it was unique, but in a good way.

Dylan
Dylaney is great but what about Lana? (lar-na or lay-na, your pick) It means Rock in gaelic if that means anything.
Hope that helps, good luck
