I'm a short, skinny, attractive white girl. Umm... the short thing. The girl thing. Not being strong because of my size and that I'm a girl, even though I'm in pretty good shape. But the one that irks me the most is that people think I'm an airhead and that I'm shallow. Is it because I want to look nice when I go out and I'm friendly so I can't possibly have a brain? Some people are really surprised when they learn that I was a science major and got A's & B's before switching to the arts and doing the same. Oh, but one thing is true... guys will buy me things if I smile at them and ask nicely. That's kinda funny.

I guess everyone gets stereotyped now days. If your a skinny pretty girl your a snob. If your a cheerleader your a 'slut'. If you are a hyperactive teenager your a druggie. You don't have many friends your a wierdo. I face many stereotypes every day, too many for me to list. I guess the only way it would matter is if I actually cared. Opinions are like as sholes, everybody has them and most of them stink.

I'm a Canadian living in the U.S., where do I start?

I should say "eh" after everything.
I should go "oot and aboot".
I drink alot.
I consider hockey a religion (OK, that one's true).
I must really like snow.
I put ketchup, vinegar and/or maple syrup on everything.
I know (Avril Lavigne/Steve Nash/insert famous Canadian here) personally.
and finally...
We all speak fluent French up there. One, no we don't, and two, the French spoken in Quebec and the Maritime provinces is different from the European French you learned how to speak poorly in high school. You're not going to impress anyone by saying "Bonjour", OK?

I've heard the "girls are dumb" bit - but I cut that guy up down to size with a more than adequate vocabulary (I called him a cretin, and an ignoramous - he didn't know what either meant. lol)

I've heard the "Oh cause she's a girl, that's why she can't lift/do heavy stuff" - again, proved I could. I used to powerlift (bench 40kgs - 15 reps, 3 sets; squats same weight, same reps and sets) before my doctor said I couldn't lift anymore due to a medical condition.

From Catholics who aren't familiar with the Protestants and Baptists - "So you like, believe Jesus is God too huh?" (this really got me laughing - the poor girl thought I was heathen).

Someone said to me (not knowing I was part Chinese) - "Chinese are pigs" - he was fat, had one foot on a chair while eating Chinese food in Chinatown and drinking beer while he said that.

I'm latino (Half Mexican and half Centra American).... I must be a dumb illegal alien mooching off this country even though I was born in the United States, have a college degree, and have never been in trouble with the law.

Im black and my family is financially well to do and I go to public school and the other black kids tell me im trying to be white because I am smart and make good grades and I dont speak like they do.But all of my close friends are black except for one-shes mixed.
