Your breaker may have something like a crack in it, I've had this happen. If you feel you can do it, kick your power out, make sure it's all out, then take that breaker out, examine it real good, look for cracks, or just replace it.

If the power is still the same, then it has to be in the walls, follow through with my first answer.

Your power maybe on two different circuits, sometimes sparks will isolate different levels of a property, I have circuit brakers for up stairs, lounge/dinning room and kitchen and utility room, so, if the power goes off in the lounge/dinning room say, I will still have power else where and not be totally in the dark, not unless its a national grid problem then we are all in the dark :)

If you safely can, remove the cover from the circuit breaker panel and follow the wire from the breaker you're re-setting. If it goes into a junction box before it disappears into the wall, check inside the box ( BREAKER OFF ) and see if all the wire nuts are tight and that all the nutted conductors are in contact with each other. Bad wire terminations are more of a problem than many people realize. Good luck.

Its possible that they are being fead from another circut breaker, try checking the other ones in your panel to see if they may have tripped. That and why did the breaker trip ? did you have to many things on it at once?? unplug a few things. they trip for a reason its to keep your wires from heting up and catching fire. Also if you have gfi..Ground fault recepticals check them to see if they may have triped.

You may just need to reset your GFI receptacle. They look like a regular receptacle, but with one red, and one black button. Push on the one that says "reset" on it. It's probably in your bathroom.
