Once upon a time in 1605 teenage Native Massachusetts boy was kidnapped and likely b^ggered by British Seaman and dragged away to England where he became the plaything of an English Lord who named him Squanto and taught him English along with introductions to French & Greek. In turn Sir Fernando Gorges (yes, real name) passed Squanto along to a Captain John Smith who employed Squano as a Scout. When Squanto tried to get out if his current job he bwas kidnapped by a Captain Hunt who showed his feelings for the lad by selling him off as a slave. After various misadventures Squanto found his way home in 1614 where he found his family dead his lands despoiled invaded by white folks. For various reasons Squanto decided to help these Pilgrims, his skills enabled them to get through their first Winter. They were greatful enough to prevent him from being hauled away to captivity amongst Natives now grown suspicious about Squanto's aid to the Pilgrims. They could do nothing to aid Squanto when he succumbed to a fever in 1622 except pray to their Christian God for his soul.

Peace....
