whats the best CPU i can get for p4bgl-mx motherboard?

i really dont know much about computers so a website to help me out or something would be nice. thanks

That motherboard supports only a 400mhz fsb. The fastest P4 (Northwood) w/ 400fsb is the Pentium 4 2.4G. The 2.4B runs at 533mhz fsb. Hope you find one of this 5 year old processor. Good luck.

Go to google and type in p4bgl-mx. You will quickly discover you have an Asus motherboard.

Asus' website will have cpu support info for your board.
