I am looking to buy 2gb of DDR2 RAM @ 667. I currently have 1Gb.
I am already ordering some stuff from Tigerdirect, so I would not have shipping charges.

This is the ram I am considering from Newegg:

This is the ram that I was looking at from Tigerdirect:

I would buy two sticks of the one from Newegg. Both prices are about the same (with rebate and shipping). Which one should I buy?

Generally, I would lean toward Corsair. They are the premium RAM manufacturer, the limosine of RAM. Kingston or Crucial are my #2 choices; I've also used PQI and PNY successfully.

I generally steer clear of Tigerdirect if I can; they sell overstock items, which either nobody wanted or somebody produced too much of. Also a lot of refurbished gear.

Newegg's customer service is impeccable, they offer competitive pricing, and occasionally a great deal if you search around enough and/or wait a little while.

Both are great but I would prefer the XMS2 because I usually overclock my set up.
