http://www.htmlgoodies.com has lots of tutorials on html and many other languages that are useful for building sites.

If you want to use html longterm, it is better to learn it from scratch that to rely on website building software, because there are situations where you will have to get into the code, even with these programs, and if you don't understand how the code works it is going to be a nightmare.

I like webmonkey.com but really there is almost nothing to basic html. I learned from http://werbach.com/barebones/ and the only thing to know is that tags are nested and ever beginning tag should have an ending tag. Lately I am lazy and use iWeb on the mac. it makes very nice sites no effort
