i agree one hundred percent with you! why because my mom ever since i was little has always had this thing about hating colored lights! she never really liked them and especially on trees and it kinda grew off on me! and i've been to my friend's houses where they have a fake tree and even with the candles the scent's just not the same. besides a real tree with white lights looks so serene and beautiful! this is sometihng i posted from a similar question like yours its how fake trees are really worse for the environment and not real trees!

real trees of course! but why? because like you said they smell nice and without a real tree christmas just wouldn't be the same! but this is another reason real trees are better for the environment too! almost all pine trees on farms are made for one purpose, to be turned into christmas trees! there are about 500,000 acres of christmas trees in production for growing Christmas Trees in the U.S. each acre provides the daily oxygen requirements of 18 people. christmas trees are also recycleble unlike most fake trees! fake trees usually are imported from china where christmas trees are made of metals and plastics. the plastic material, typically PVC, can be a potential source of hazardous lead and dangerously hurt or kill children! the working condition of the people at the factories are horrible and disgusting they only get paid $100 a month too! if that! the USDA also quartined artificial trees because they had a wooden middle poles that had a dangerous beetles in them! many artificial trees contain PVC and which when released is te most potentially harmful man-made chemical ever known! once in our air it can cause cancer, damaging immune functions and impairing children's development. so artificial trees can't even be recycled! i think its clear as far as which tree is overall better and better for the environment! the real, traditional christmas tree

i hope i helped you out!

I've been doing a fake tree with multi-color lights for years and ornaments. I love decorating a Christmas tree.

I enjoy real trees because of the Christmas aroma that comes from them, but, I enjoy a fake better because I can decorate it like I want and I do not have to buy another one.Secondly,I like white Christmas trees with blue and clear lights, ornaments to match, tree skirt and a star on top to complete

Hmmmm... I've only had a Christmas tree like once or twice when I was little (my bro and I decorated it). I want to get a tree this year. I think I'd rather have a real tree, with multi-colored lights and ornaments. :)

I prefer a fake Christmas tree for many reasons. It is a lot easier to deal with(don't have to water it). You get your money out of it having it year after year. Plus you don't have to really worry about little bug getting in it and laying eggs and hatching out all over the floor. That is what happen to my aunt when she got her first real Christmas tree.

For me I prefer real christmas trees since I have small plant trees at the yard,no need to cut it and no need to buy a fake one.Having real trees in the yard is best not cutting it,just decorate it they way u want.and dat way u can save the life of the trees and of course saving from expenses buying a fake one.
