I do.
One of the main things about the entire punk movement was that it was an anti-establishment movement that was a response to the social and political climate of the times. One of the reasons why I love The Clash is because their music is so much about politics and society. Some punk bands are really hard to listen to--The Clash actually made music which you could listen to, but they did it without selling out and becoming completely commercial. I always have liked the fact that they are really good musicians. You cannot say that about bands like The Sex Pistols, regardless of how loveable they are.
So yeah, I actually love The Clash. I don't just like them.

I LIKE THE CLASH ESPECIALLY THEIR TOP SELLING DOUBLE ALBUM "LONDON CALLING". THAT'S THE REASON WHY I LIKE THEM, THEN, THERE'S CUT THE CRAP AND COMBAT ROCK (rock the casbah!!!!) the finest punk rock band in the land. and btw, if you like the clash you will like Big Audio Dynamite

They're my second favorite punk rock band. I love their musical style, especially the reggae-influenced basslines. They're one of the reasons why I listen to punk rock.

Pete Townshend thought they had the punk attitude of the Who.But he also felt they had that intelligence to express it.
