My cousin was going out of town so he fed his boa a rat and then put another one in there for later. Sadly, when he came back the rat had bitten the poor snake all over and the boa had to spend a week at the vet's. Some people!

Years ago, we had a ball python. We had to feed him a small rat. The snake struck so quickly, I don't think the rat had a chance to feel fear or to know what was happening.
