that's a beautifully formulated question! I'm going to answer something quite, well true but ne main thing we have in common with God, is Jesus. Need I explain more?

God longs for praise and adoration. i think that we all love a pat on the back or for someone to tell us how smart we are, or how good we are at something. to be loved... to be honored.... to be respected. these are all things that God wants too. fellowship--God wants fellowship with us. we need fellowship with others. no man is an island. if man was made in the image of God, then you can expect that we would actually hold a lot of things in common with God.

We have a lot in common with God, but only whenever we think or do 'good'...... even creativity would be akin to 'devil' if we are not good.
