My roommate lost lots of weight and she tring to make me feel uncofterble about myslef.Don't get me wrong I lost weight also but I can care less to be skinny! I love myslef the way I'm, so I just happend to roll my eye's.I relay don't need 5 men to say I'm pretty.I already know I'm! But how can I get her to stop saing all that bull ****.

Did it ever occur to you that she might just be looking for an "Atta girl!" or "Good job"? Don't be so hard on her, and maybe if you say to her that you appreciate her accomplishment she will tone it down some. Everyone likes a little recognition now and then, if you give it to her she will love you for it. If you don't care about having people compliment you, that doesn't mean she feels the same way.

Tell her that you are glad she is feeling so much better about herself and her accomplishment, that you think she looks very nice, but that you don't need to be reminded of it everyday. Tell her in a non-threatening way that you care for her and that you don't want to come across as stuck up, but that you feel like she is trying to make you feel bad about yourself and you don't want her to say those things anymore. It may work. Give it a try.

I'm sure that that is not her intention. Losing weight take a lot of work and self discipline. She is probably very proud of herself and wants to express her joy.
If she is saying she did it for male approval, then I am afraid she need to gain self-esteem instead of losing weight.

She is proud of herself.It is not that easy to loose a lot of weight.She feels better,she is confident,she feels pretty.You don't need attention,she does.Try to support her.And when it gets too annoying,gently change the subject.

Just tell her that you are happy for her that she feels better about herself, but that you have already heard it all and would prefer not to talk about it anymore.
