I'm sure your parents have more worries than you. For starters, they are probably worried about your inability to articulate yourself properly and correctly in plain and simple English. Illiteracy is not something to be proud of.

All generations have gone through a period where peer pressure was a big factor in their lives especially in high school. If you're still in school, chances are it's just about your whole world in a sense. How you dress, act, talk and other things are reflected by the other kids around you. Trust me, once High school is over with you will more than likely never see any of those people again. Friendships and acquaintances from school usually end there.

I agree that peer pressure is difficult to deal with. Kids have a tough time fitting in with their fellow classmates or passing classes or doing right by their teachers and family. Parents understand all that because they've been through it, themselves.

Thing is, kids don't have to worry about going to work every day in order to feed the family. Work has the same pressures as school. Sometimes a lot worse. But if we "drop out" of work, then we won't be able to pay for the things that we give our kids. (home, school, clothes, food, entertainment....)

We have to make sure that every bill is paid on time. We have to worry that we have enough money to pay them. If we miss a payment, we usually have to pay extra money just because it's late. If you miss an assignment, you can always turn it in.

Plus the fact that parents have to keep our kids healthy. We have to make appointments and make sure to get you there.

I'm telling you.... it seems so hard when you're younger, I understand where you're coming from. But truthfully, when you become an adult, you'll wish you can go back to being young again.

I'm not trying to scare you, but it is a lot harder as an adult. And scary, too. But if you play your cards right.... graduate, and land yourself a decent job, you should do fine.

And if I were you, as you get older, use protection. ALWAYS. Because life only gets tougher when you have a child or two to raise and take care of. And of course, when you do have children of your own, love them and care for them and be ready for them to ask common questions like the one you just did.

It'll get better if you let it. Best of luck to you.

Young people have a lot to worry about...things like proper grammar and doing well in school! Maybe you should focus a little more on these things and a little less on what everyone else thinks of you. Trust me, I'm sure that if you focused on doing well in school you'll be so focused that you won't have time to worry about what others think of you.

You mean do young people....not does.
And in my opinion parents have more to worry about than kids as they have to make sure that the kids are fed, clothed, schooled.

Adults have peer presure also. There is also a desire to be accepted in the work place by fellow workers.

I know what YOU have to worry about. Want to know what it is? It's called Grammar. let me refresh you. Does young people... does young people?? you mean, DO young people. I hope to God that was an honest typo or you weren't paying attention. If you thought that was correct, then the world really does have to worry more about our schools.

Might I suggest that you worry about spending more time on mastering basic English?
